Virtual Casino Etiquette

by: Chen Ching-feng
There are a few points of virtual casino etiquette that one should adhere to when gambling online. Just like being at a real life social event, it’s good etiquette to be polite and courteous to everyone else in the gaming room. This goes a long way to show you have respect for the other online gamblers in the room.
These points are not compulsory, but it is a form of respect, and in return you will gain respect from others. It doesn’t mean that because you don’t see the other virtual gamblers that you can get away with saying or doing whatever you want.
Another very important point of etiquette is knowing how to play the game before you decide to play for real money. This will help you in the end as well, because if you do not know the game it will empty out your wallet very quickly. It can make the game hard for the serious players who are trying to hit the jackpot if you don’t remember this little courteous. Begin with games where you play with fun bucks before you are ready to play for real money.
It is inappropriate to make ill jokes or curse. Also don’t criticize the other players’ techniques and be humble when winning. Treat everyone the same way you would like to be treated.
Should you choose to fold while playing, do not discuss what you had in your hand. This can ruin the game for the others at the table. Please remember that most virtual casino websites have time limits which you need to adhere to when it is your turn to play. It is advised that you make quick but smart decisions to keep the flow of the game...

Gambling Events Basics

by: Mansi gupta
Gambling has always been a tabooed subject in the middle class households because of the adverse sociological impacts. The great epics of the east include stories about the kings loosing their whole dynasties in the game of gambling. Thought he whole practice is scathed, but the charm of the game has not ended basically because of the quick rewards associated with it. It still attracts the poorest of the masses and the richest of the riches to the doorsteps of the casinos, which mark almost the whole world. The economic contribution of the gambling and gaming to the GDP’s of many countries is really high.
The auspices of gambling extend beyond the normal card and board games. The roulette, the high rollers and the other device-based games are also a part and parcel of the gambling phenomenon. The Internet also has been a major force in spreading the gambling games across the globe. Tagging gambling as a sport will and has raised many critical remarks, as the spirit of the game cannot be attached to the gambling games. The trickery will always be attached to the gamblers. Because of this the habit of gambling is also prohibited by law in many countries.
Another way of looking at things is the way the gambling events are being organized for raising charity money. Raffles are also a kind of gambling but they are normally used to raise the money for the poor and the needy. The gambling not confined to the American states but it cuts across all societies and cultures equally. The events of gambling takes place internationally. Also the casinos are spread evenly on the world map. Gambling is now being attached to the luxury and glamour and is seen at the most exotic of places. The glitterati moving towards these places show that the games have become a status symbol for the high classes of the society.
Sports betting and Internet gambling are the two most prevalent mediums for the aspiring players to begin. Gambling has taken the form of an industry and the stakes in the area are increasing progressively. The political and social impact of gambling are being discussed by the sociologists across the world and the implications are being recorded to decide the fate of such a so-called social evil.
Although the gambling in its strict sense means betting and winning at the cards table, but the meaning of the word is being extended by adding the bullfights and the dog and cock fights in the gambling ambit. They remain a question unanswered. This is because of the simple reason that gambling is now associated with status of the people and thus Bullfights etc. are considered to be street sports rather then gambling. Although their nature remains essentially the same.
Gambling has seen as a rising industry after the amalgamation of the practice with traveling and leisure. The hot destinations in North America provide exotic locations for the rich and the famous to dole out millions at the mercy of lady luck. In other words gambling has glamorized getting bankrupt. Nevertheless, the practice has seen the changing times and history has it that it dominated many kingdoms. Thus we can safely presume that as long as the mankind exists gambling will breathe with it.

American Gambling Basics

by: Mansi Gupta
Casinos have always been a destination for the wealthy and the famous, however, these days they are hoping to be a regular stopover. But the gambling cannot be confined to one spot. However gone are the days when Las Vegas was the all and all destination for serious gambling.
The success of Las Vegan model inspired a lot of other states to legalize the concept of gambling resorts and palatial casinos as sources of churning hefty revenues.
The Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988 was path breaking in more then one way. Not only did it permitted casinos on land controlled by Indians, but it also proved to be the forerunner of a plethora of other laws aimed at liberalizing gambling scenario of the nation.
The act injected much needed money into the sagging and cash deprived economies of the states and was by and large successful on doing so simultaneously also providing a large number of jobs.
Another concept that soon emerged on the scene was that of River boat Gambling. Though the name strikes all the right chords in the heart and creating images of garishly decorated boats moving to and fro on the river Mississippi and other inland waterways. However there is one twist to the tale. While yes the boats are with the most exquisite of the Victorian decoration and to stir up a lot of chords, but they never leave the docks!! Thus they are nothing but casinos on water. While the rules in actuality vary from state to state and in some states such casino boats are actually allowed to cruise through water also. !!
The busy life of the up town leaves people with hardly any opportunity to have exclusive gaming holidays. The entire country of US today can be traversed with al the fun and frolic a gambler would ever want. The acts of different states though are a bit different. Starting with the northeastern experience there are various reasons that make the make state and districts such attractive destinations of gambling. The facilities available in them and what are the legal requirements for gambling in these states though vary to an extent.
Mid Atlantic is another popular destination the regulatory authorities in these states however ensure that the avenues for gaming are ample. The avenues available to any one planning a trip around the US with only one aim, and that being gambling are vast to say the least.
Gambling travel in the states can be best planned if some information which foremost includes the laws governing gambling in that state and the right places to be looked for are known. Following are the regions classified which cover the entire length and breadth of the US and to get the most out of the country’s best gambling experience each one must be paid homage to.
These include:
Northeast
Mid-Atlantic
Southeast
South Central
Midwest
North Central
Central Plains
Southern Plains
Northwest
Western
Nevada
Any plan should make sure that best of the above-mentioned are covered in totality.

Online Gambling Basics

by: Mansi Gupta
Poker, black jack or any other casino game with a real fancy name, any lay man acquainted with the web knows that these are only a click away. Online gambling industry today is one with the highest growth rate. However which site to choose is definitely the biggest problem that one faces when seriously thinking about gambling online. With sites by the dozen offering “online gambling” there are other hundred offering you to start your own site, the scene can get a lot confusing.
Though site offer all traditional card games like poker and black jack and other casino games like roulette and slot machines, but the roots of internet gambling still centre around sorts betting and horse racing.
The concept is quite sensible considering that not everyone is comfortable with the terms and other nitty gritty of various dice games, while the picking the scores of a super bowl game is relatively easier.
According to various stats as published in Sports Illustrated sports betting touched as much as 1 billion $ which is 10 times the figures placed with traditional Nevada sports books. Betting on horses is also hugely facilitated by theses sites as while all major races are broadcasted on major television channels and other programmes cover highlights of the races, but getting on the tracks can get difficult, if you do not live in a state where the tracks are located.
While the federal wire act1961 made it illegal to use telephone to place bets, thus driving the prospective gamblers from other states out of luck, however the arrival of internet on the horizon changed the scene.
Popularity gained by poker in the recent years has been another reason for the success of online gaming in the recent years. Te success of the Travel Channel’s World Poker Tour program and ESPN’s World Series of Poker, have pushed other channels also to start airing these shows.
Poker though may easily be the most successful online gamble game but sites are trying to popularise the real games like black jack and slots by vigorous advertising which includes bulk email advertising. The emails sent by GoldenPalace.com, one virtual casino offers as much as 58 casino games, meanwhile offering chat rooms and other premium services.
Interestingly online betting is not the only way to spend money. There are industry sites such as the River City Group, based in Missouri open for subscription starting from$245.Those not ready to spend money right away there are fee software to be downloaded to play poker or other games. There also are free practise areas to learn and play for free. However the catch lies in the fact that success in these free areas are a sure invitation to the real gaming world, where however winning is not so easy. The odds might be against you but in the world of software tricksters it’s always easy to make a winning way out. So online gambling in fact a contest between the owner and the player. But in either case it’s the winner who gets it all.

Gambling Isn't the Only Thing to do in Las Vegas

by: Monica Marty
Do you think the only thing to do in Las Vegas is gamble? Would you believe that there are a multitude of great hiking trails in a place where all-you-can-eat casino buffets are par for the course? Southern Nevada is chock full of great hiking trails ready to be discovered. Hiking areas near Las Vegas include: Red Rock, Mt.Charleston, Lake Mead, and the Eastern Sierra. These hiking trails are interspersed between canyons, mountains, chutes, and gullies.
Red Rock: Red Rock is located 20 miles west of Las Vegas. The hiking trails range between 1-12 miles and can accommodate hikers of any skill level. Camping is available. Currently, it costs $5 per car and $20 for a yearly pass.
Mt.Charleston: Mt.Charleston is 35 miles northwest of Las Vegas. It is filled with mountainous terrain. Mt.Charleston has summer temperatures that are nearly 30 degrees cooler then Las Vegas. The hiking trails range from 1-20 miles and will bode well for beginning to advanced hikers. Currently, it costs $6 per car.
Lake Mead: Lake Mead is 20 miles east of Las Vegas. Lake Mead is an easy hike. It is generally 10 degrees warmer than Las Vegas. Therefore, consider hiking Lake Mead during the winter months. There are hot springs and eye-catching rock formations to admire while hiking around Lake Mead. The hiking trails are 1-15 miles long. Currently, it costs $5 for certain hikes.
Eastern Sierra: The Eastern Sierra mountain range is a 3.5 hour drive from Las Vegas. It is worth the drive when you experience the many peaks it has to offer. The highest peak is Mt. Whitney which stands at 14,494 feet. There are numerous trails to choose from that explore the peaks that make up the Eastern Sierra mountain range. The trails range from 1-20 miles long. There is no entrance fee. However, some of the trails require permits while others do not. Also, be aware that the Eastern Sierra mountain range is home to a bear population so take precautions when hiking and camping.
So turn in your poker chips and skip the slot machines when you head to Las Vegas. The area has many spectacular hiking trails to offer. Try hiking in fall, winter, or spring because Las Vegas has sweltering heat in the summer. Take in the fresh air and rocky scenery of Las Vegas area hiking trails. They are a little known secret waiting for you to discover them.

There Is No Such Thing As The Gambling Olympics!

by: Jess Kirley
I often become bewildered when I hear of people bragging, because they have high strike rates and/or high profit-on-turnover figures (POT). You know the 'my strike rate on the Soccer is 73%' or 'my POT on the gallops is 90%'.
Yes, OK, congratulations. Give yourself a pat on the back; you are making money. Well, actually, if your strike rate on the Soccer was 73%, this certainly does not guarantee that you are showing a profit. After all, the goal is to back plenty of winners, isn't it? Well, yes and no.
Is the goal to simply make money, or is it to make as much money as we can, given our current resources (time, starting bank, knowledge, etc.)? I realize that it sounds like I am being a little greedy, but come on, admit it, we all want great, big, fat, consistent profits from our betting, don't we?
I truly believe, that many punters think, that this punting game is a competition, where plaques, certificates and smiley faces are awarded to those with the best win strike rates and profit on turnover figures.
Yes, before you wipe your writing pad out to type me a letter of disgust at my arrogance, I admit that I am being a little hard-lined on this one.
I mean, really, WHO CARES if you have a POT of 30%, 60% or even more?
WHO CARES how many winning teams you backed, or how many horses you backed, which were first past the post?
It seems to me, that many punters seem to turn a blind eye to one and only real measure of how well you performed . . .
How Much Money Did You Make?
Maybe I am the odd one out, but every time I hear somebody spruiking, that they make an excessive POT of say 20% or more, the first thought that pops into my head is certainly not, 'Gee, that bloke really must know what he is doing, what a legend!', but more along the lines of;
How Much Money COULD He Have Made?
If you achieve high POT figures, you are telling me three things:
1. You have had, maybe, a couple of dozen bets at most,
2. You are way too selective with your selections, but most importantly,
3. You are not making as much money as you could be.
Whenever I try to explain this to a punter down at the pub, they think I am totally insane.
"What Do You Bloody Mean That I Could Be Doing Better? You Tell Me How Many Other Punters Can Achieve 90% POT?"
Generally, that is what I hear, when I open my mouth about this subject. Look, missing a good bet is as bad as making a bad bet. There is little excuse for either. We all do both, but hopefully we don't make that same mistakes twice.
For those who disagree, I ask the following:
Tell me why I should turn my back on a positive expectation bet, regardless of the return? Maybe I should not make the bet, because I may damage my strike rate, or may lower my POT, and as a result, won't sound as good when I brag to my mates. RUBBISH! There is no such thing as the gambling Olympics; you are not going to get an award for having the best POT figures or strike rates. I shall repeat this once more.
The Aim Of The Game Is To MAKE MONEY.
If you are achieving an average return on each bet of more than 20% or 30%, I believe you need to rework your approach, and do a little work to get that POT back down a little by making the smaller positive expectation bets. Yes, bring your POT down! How many good bets do you think you are missing, if you wait all year, and make only 12 bets, but you have 80% POT? You are making money on those 12 bets only. OK, fair enough, you may make those bets quite large in relation to your bankroll, but bear in mind, you may be able to make two, three, ten or even more times the amount you are making now by taking those smaller edges.
The article . . .'The difference between your edge and your expectation' follows on from this concept. Reading this one article may make $1,000's of dollars of difference to your bottom line over the course of a year.
Remember, it is not how many winners you back, but how much money you make. Leave the bragging and high turnover figures to the 'heroes'

Land Casinos Vs. Online Casinos

by: Adel Awwad
Since the emergence of a few online casinos in 1996, the growth and popularity of the online gambling industry has skyrocketed at a phenomenal rate. There are currently thousands of online casinos generating an estimated annual revenue of over USD $7,000,000,000. If this figure is divided by 365 days, then it could be said that online casinos generate an average of well over $19,000,000 in revenue every single day. As the global internet population continues to grow, and with internet gambling expanding into numerous non-English speaking countries in Europe and Asia, it is safe to assume that the above figures will continue to grow with no immediate signs of slowing down in the near future.
In many cases, compared to a traditional land based casino, an online casino has many advantages which have contributed to its overall growth, popularity and success.
Multilingual: Most of the popular online casinos offer multiple language support, so a person who does not understand English is still able to gamble and enjoy oneself without having to worry about language and communication difficulties. Some of the languages offered at online casinos include: Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
Currencies: Unlike a land casino, many online casinos accept multiple currencies so that two or more persons are able to play the same game using their own currencies. A person living in Italy can purchase credit in Euro while a person living in the United States can purchase credit in USD. This removes the inconvenience and confusion of having to firstly convert an unfamiliar currency to one’s own currency before placing each bet.
Deposit Methods: Online casinos usually accept a much wider range of deposit methods. Whereas the main deposit method in land casinos is cash, online casinos are known to accept: 1-Pay, 900Pay, ACH, ACTeCash, American Express, Bank Check, Bank Wire, Personal Check, Central Coin, Citadel Commerce, Clearchex, Click2Pay, Debit Card, Debitel AG, Diners Club, Duo Cash, eGold, ECO Card, Electronic Check, Ensurepay, Epassporte, Equifax, Everyday Card, Evo Cash, eWalletXpress, Firepay, Gaming Card, Global ATM Card, Global Connect Card, IGM Pay, InstaCash, InstaDebit, Mastercard, Money Transfer, Moneybookers, Moneygram, NETeller, Net Pay, onDemandFunds, Pay2, Paybox, PaySafeCard, PaySpark, Pinbucks, Solo Card, Switch Card, Telebuy, UseMyBank, Virtual Exchange, Visa, Webdollar and Western Union.
Real Money: Online gamblers play with real money, and as a result they are more acutely aware of the value of their money as opposed to one who plays with a stack of multi-coloured casino chips which don’t seem to have as much of an immediate value. Unlike a land casino where chips don’t seem to have as much value as real money, thus encouraging the player to gamble away more money, an online casino displays the exact amount of money in a player’s account and as a result encourages the player to take his/her money more seriously and not lose track of the value of his/her money.
Dress code: Online casinos don’t have dress codes. One can play in a business suit, dress, underwear, or naked. Thus one does not have to worry about choosing what to wear and dress according to one’s social environment or weather forecast. Being able to wear whatever one chooses gives the player a greater sense of comfort and convenience.
Food and Drinks: Unlike land casinos which enforce certain eating and drinking rules, an online casino player does not have to worry about what he/she can or cannot eat and drink during a game. Thus an online gambler may play with greasy fingers while drinking from a bottle of whisky without an objections from the casino.
Smoking: Whether the player is a compulsive, chronic smoker or a non-smoker who cannot bear the smell of cigarettes, one sets his/her own environmental conditions and does not have to worry about the environmental preferences of other players.
Free Casino Chips: In an effort to attract players, numerous online casinos offer players free casino money to play with. Free online casino bonuses can range from $10 to $2400. Offering potential players free no-deposit or match-play casino bonuses presents a tremendous incentive for players to register real player accounts with these online casinos.
More games: Compared to land casinos, online casinos offer a much greater range and variation of games. A traditional land based casino usually offers the following games: Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Poker, Keno, Roulette and Slots. Compare this to an online casino which currently offers the following games: Treasure Nile, Deuces Wild Power Poker, Cash Splash, Double Magic, Progressive Cyberstud, Blackjack, Triple Sevens, Blackjack (Table), Jackpot Deuces (Poker), Roulette Royale (Table), SupaJax (Poker), Major Millions (Slot), LotsaLoot (Slot), WowPot (Slot), Fruit Fiesta (Slot). Power Poker: Aces & Faces, Double Joker, Joker Poker, Deuces & Joker, Tens or Better, Jacks or Better. Regular Poker: Aces & Faces, Deuces & Joker, Joker Poker, Louisiana Double, Deuces Wild, Double Joker, Jacks or Better, Tens or Better, Poker Pursuit, Multi-Hand Blackjack, Roulette, Cyberstud Poker, Red Dog Poker, Baccarat Craps, Keno, Sic Bo, Scratch Card. Slots: Bonus Slot - Lucky Charmer, Bonus Slot - Diamond Deal, Bonus Slot - Chiefs Fortune, Bonus Slot - High Noon, Bonus Slot - Sizzling Scorpions, Bonus Slot - Wheel of Wealth, Genies Gems, Fantastic 7s, Winning Wizards, Reels Royce, Golden Dragon, Jackpot Express, Pharaohs Fortune, Big 5, One Arm Bandit, Fun House, Cool Buck, Cosmic Cat, Fruit, Island Style, Martian Money, Sand Storm, Vegas Fortune, Crazy Crocs, Jesters Jackpot, Trick or Treat, Roman Riches, Zany Zebra, 7 Oceans, Jurassic Jackpot, Party Time, Pirates Paradise, Lions Share, Monkey's Money, Goblin Gold, Chiefs Magic, Blackjack Bonanza, Cash Crazy, Gladiators Gold, 5 Reel Drive, Jet Set, Totem Treasure, Reel Thunder Living in Luxury, Peek-a-Boo.
Less Expensive: If the land casino is located in another city, then the gambler would need to take into account transport, accommodation and meal costs, while a person living near a casino would have to take into account transport costs. Depending on how far away from the land casino the player is living, these costs can run into thousands of dollars, whereas an online player can gamble from virtually any computer with an internet connection.
Player Support: Online casinos usually offer better customer service in the sense that they may usually be contacted via telephone, fax, live 24/7 live chat support and email. In addition to this, they provide the player with detailed instructions on how to play each game, whereas a land based casino does not usually provide the player instructions on how to play the games.
Privacy: The sense of privacy available via online casinos greatly exceeds the sense of privacy offered by land based casinos in the sense that online casinos do not take photographs or film footage of players. One is able to enjoy the games without having to worry about what the photographic records or video footage will be used for. In addition to this, one is able to play at an online casino without the knowledge of any other person who is not a casino employee.
Safety: In many cases, it is actually safer for a person to play at an online casino than at a land based casino because the risk of the player being assaulted or robbed greatly decreases when one plays from the safety of one’s home. This not only applies to persons who win large amounts of money in the presence of other people, but also to persons who attend casinos with cash money to play with.
Weather: One does not have to worry about the weather conditions or how to dress for it when playing from the comfort of one’s own home. There is no need to worry about the wet and slippery road conditions when it’s raining or taking an hour long trip to the casino on a hot summer day.
Ill Health: Whether the player is suffering from back pain or diarrhea and as a result is unable to attend the land casino, or whether he/she is simply trying to avoid catching the flu from other persons, ill health does not appear to represent a significant obstacle to those who wish to gamble online.
Less Distractions: Land casinos usually have more distractions which aim to decrease the player’s focus on the game and separate the player from his/her money. Some of the distractions which land casinos utilise include glamorous flashing lights, machine sounds, free alcohol, large mirrors, the absence of wall clocks, windows or any indicators of time so that the player will lose track of time and spend more time in the casino. Unlike land casinos, online casinos do not utilise such distractions.
Play for Free: Online casinos offer players the opportunity to play the casino games for free. Thus one is able to practice and get a feel for the casino games before deciding if and whether to play for real money. Land casinos do not offer such an option and expect all players to play for real money with no opportunity to practice for free.
Relaxed Atmosphere: An online betting session is usually much more relaxed with no time limit or pressure to perform, compared to land casino betting. An online casino player may play a game at his/her own pace without having to quickly make his/her move because he/she is worried about the dealer or other players rushing him along.
Anywhere at Anytime: Online casinos may be played from anywhere at anytime. Whether the player is playing at 2.00 a.m. or 2.00 p.m., from the comfort of one’s one home, or from a laptop inside a camping tent, online casinos may be accessed from any computer with an internet connection, anytime during the day or night.
Shyness: Internet gambling seems to appeal a great deal to persons who are very shy and do not wish to interact with strangers in a land casino.
Equal treatment: Whether the player is wealthy or not, male or female, young or old, Asian or American, online casinos do not discriminate against or show special favor to specific groups of players. Every player is valued and treated equally without having to feel inferior because he/she is betting $50 when another player is betting $5000. It would be difficult to imagine a Hollywood celebrity and the average Joe receiving the same type of treatment from a land based casino.
Better Payouts: Online casinos don’t need to employ dealers, buy gaming tables and slot machines, purchase a casino building, manage a bar and restaurant, hire security guards, etc, and as a result they usually have much lower overhead costs and better payouts than land casinos.
Due to the above-mentioned set of reasons, it is not very difficult to understand why online casinos have proven to be so popular among gamblers from all walks of life.

Casinos and States Target the Compulsive Gambler And Innocent People

by: Howard Keith
Each and every day Casinos and State governments target innocent hard working people and the compulsive gambler through slogans, ads and various publicity stunts.
This type of marketing triggers the subconscious mind. In most instances, it's had a negative affect on people who have made the decision to stop gambling and introduces gambling to teenagers and all other walks of life.
Triggers are obstacles in our environment that can cause your subconscious to override your rational thought. Once a compulsive gambler made the conscious decision to stop gambling these triggers continually influence their rational thought.
There are times you could be relaxing watching the news and a casino commercial comes on. Your first thought is to go back to the casino for a big win. You then sit back and try to think of all the reasons not to go and the positive changes you made in your life. Then as the news end, they announce their proud new sponsor is the Casino. They go on to tell you the casinos have sponsored so many events this year: The Fourth of July Fireworks, Special Olympics, Thanksgiving Food Drive and various other not for profit events through out the state. If you gambled on the Lotto, the states would do the same type of advertising with their local lottery drawings. They tell you that the lottery this year raised 4.8 billion dollars for education, road improvements etc. They share with you the three winners who won over Two Million Dollars. They neglect to tell about the many families who lost their homes, and those who faced divorce. They also don't mention the number of suicides related to gambling.
Once again the compulsive gambler pushes the advertising from the Television out of his mind. Next the mail man arrives at his house and he gets a letter from the casinos offering him a luxury hotel room, tickets to shows and even a birthday celebration. Please come join us. We miss you. You figure it’s all free I might as well go. You go and lose another $1000.00. This causes you to get back into the visious cycle of gambling. The Casinos and States don’t care if you lose your home, family and or friends. They are there to make a profit.
After you lose everything you are forced to file bankruptcy. Do you think the Casinos are going to give you credit in the future? You no longer have value to them. Now that you finally stopped, it can now take you ten years to get the bankruptcy off your credit report. The struggle continues to be overwelming for these people.
Even though the compulsive gambler stops gambling, it will be years before the gambler can find true financial peace again.
There are a lot of people who believe the States and all Forms of Gambling should be held responsible for losses incurred due to gambling.
If they were held accountable, gambling addictions would be their priorty to prevent.

RV Camping at Casinos

by: William Smith
There's nothing that will quicken the interest of RVers like the prospect of free overnight parking. Places such as Wal-Mart parking lots, and truck stops, are well known freebies, and if you are on the move in your RV, expanding the list of possible free overnight camping locations will broaden your options. What is especially encouraging is that Casinos as a whole are RV friendly.
Even though Rving enthusiasts are gradually gaining awareness of the free parking opportunities at Casinos, it is not a well-known option. Most states permit Casino operations to one degree or another. I consider Casino RV parking to be an under utilized resource.
Although I have never been inside a Casino, and have zero interest in gambling, I have no personal objections to parking on their lot, and enjoying a meal at their restaurant. If you have moral objections to gambling, then this may not be the parking opportunity for you.
You’ll find that most Casinos will allow free overnight parking and some limit your stay to a few days. A few Casinos require that you be a customer in order to park; an entirely understandable requirement. There are some Casinos that allow no overnight parking, or require that you park at their adjoining RV campground at their customary nightly rates. You will also find a few Casinos that offer free dump stations, and even a few that offer hookups on site.
Locating Casinos is not as easy as one would think. I have compiled a list of a few hundred with names, addresses and telephone numbers, and posted the list at www.HappyVagabonds.com. Keep in mind when viewing this list that a few of the listings are not Casinos at all. Some states permit a limited number of slot machines in a business and then the establishment adds the word Casino to their business name. Many of these business are taverns with a few slot machines and do not have the parking space to accommodate an RV. Simply call ahead to avoid embarrassment and wasted time.
Add Casino parking to your list of free RV camping opportunities. Stop at a Casino, enjoy the food, and entertainment for a couple of hours, then head on to your next destination after you’ve had a good night’s rest.

Beat the Casinos

by: Hein Hayman
Do you have what it takes to become a successful (and profitable) gambler? Read on and find out:
1. A gambling system
No matter what your game, a gambling system is being marketed to turn you into a winner. Unfortunately, 90% of them are built on empty promises and does not work.
So how do you find a system that works? The easiest way is to get a personal recommendation from somebody that you trust, who has used the system with positive results. Otherwise it is a long, hard slog through all the promotional rubbish to find a system that makes sense to you. Don’t just buy the first one that you see. Do your research and find out about the creator’s reputation?
A good system does not only include a gambling system, but also a bankroll system, win/loss criteria and preferably a flexible approach. I can’t stress this enough! I have seen so many people lose their money because they did not have a sufficient bankroll or their system was not flexible enough to change if they were losing.
Your system needs to rely on mathematical and statistical odds to make a consistent profit. If this is the case, the laws of nature are on your side! Sure, the gambler playing on gut feel might win big, but rest assured that he would also lose big.
So now you have a good system and you are raring to go and win some money. WAIT, because you might still lack what I feel is the most important element of a successful gambler. You need the right mindset…
2. The right mindset
At this point some people will stop reading and ignore the “mumbo-jumbo”. To them I say all the best of luck with your gambling and I hope you become successful. But chances are that they won’t. Sure, they might win a few hands/pots, but over the longer term, they will consistently lose.
For those of you still with me, what do I mean by the right mindset?
Well, for starters, don’t see yourself as a gambler. Gambling implies relying on luck to either win big or lose big. See yourself as an investor. You invest your time and money (bankroll) to make a profit.
Believe in your system. This is why it is so important to use a reliable and proven system. You need to be sure that although a session might end in a loss, you will recoup the loss in the next few sessions.
Let us look at an example: In your first session you make a profit of $100. In your second session you make a loss of $200. So your net loss will be $100.
At this point many people quit and whinge about the system not working as it is supposed to. What they don’t realise is that the next three or four sessions might net them $400 profit. So not only do they lose a system that might make them consistent profits, but they lose $100 as well!
Calculate your winnings and losses in units. Why? Well, if you play with $1 chips, then wagering two or three chips (units) is not a big deal. What about playing with $20 chips? All of a sudden you are wagering $40-$60 on a single play. Your mind tells you that you are staking a lot of money, which in turn causes you to have doubts about your system. This is where people start to play too carefully and not follow their system. End result: they lose the money. If your system worked with $1 chips, there is no reason for it not to work with $20 chips. Remember to always wager amounts supported by your bankroll.
3. Casino bonuses
The last weapon in your arsenal is casino bonuses. What a great way of making money by using the casinos’ money against them! Obviously there are a lot of requirements associated with this. I mean, why would the casino give you free money? Discussing these requirements would be and article or two on its own! However, why don’t you sign up for the free e-mail course “How to make consistent profits from gambling” by clicking here – mailto:profits3456@aweber.com. This course will show you how to use casino bonuses to make some extra cash.
If you implement and developed the points mentioned above, you will already be ahead of the majority of gamblers and on well your way to beat the casinos.
Best of luck (although you won’t have to rely on it!)

Online Casinos: the Good, the Bad, the Ugly

by: Josef Gagne
The Good
You may have a fascination with basking in the glory of millions of dollars, a comfortable business while relaxing on your couch…wondering what is this all about? Many have found ‘online casinos’ an opportunity to make money via the electronic medium. These casinos are gaining popularity due to the spectrum of benefits they endow.
-Online casinos provide an easy access to gaming anytime. So you needn’t worry of heavy showers, chilly mornings and foggy days. The gaming aficionados can play multitude of games just by being at home.
-One amongst many wonderful aspects of casinos online is that even the physically handicapped who cannot budge out of their houses, can have a great time because of these casinos.
-Almost all the cherished games such as poker, roulette and others can be relished online without much expenditure. Cost effectiveness is a noteworthy feature of betting through the net. This is so for gambling online saves commutation charges plus the heavy expense one incurs on food and beverages while playing in a casino.
-Those individuals for whom Internet gambling is not a mere source of entertainment, are cautious of the odds and returns being offered by different casinos. The best part is that while playing online an individual can think peacefully and be focused on his game for he is away from the hurly burly of the casinos.
The Bad
-The games and the technique to play them remains the same, the rules and regulations too do not vary largely, but what definitely is missing in online gaming is the mind boggling and exclusive ambience of a casino. For instance Roulette might lose its charm without the finely crafted Roulette table and beautifully machined metal wheels. The internet will serve you only with graphics depriving you of the amazing experience of mahogany side rails to rest your elbows and glistening chrome wheel.
-If your children are watching you play every time on the Internet, this might have an adverse impact on their minds.
The Ugly
-The worst feature of gambling online is its addictiveness, which is relatively stronger in this case. This is because this gambling can be done at any hour of the day.
A big factor in all of this can be which online casino a person chooses to use. Some are merely average, while others offer fantastic service and special deals. For responsible players, good online casinos can turn out to be an excellent way to give vent to your gaming spirit.

4 Tips to Responsible Gaming with UK Online Casinos

by: Josef Gagne
Gaming in online casinos can be a lot of fun and can potentially bring in profit. However, online gaming in casinos loses it’s fun when players don’t gamble responsibly. Here are a few tips that can help anyone who currently plays at online casinos, or is thinking about playing.
1. It is important to set boundaries for yourself. Decide on loss limits and time limits. Setting aside a certain amount of money that you are willing to part with is very beneficial. Players who don’t set aside certain amounts of money can fall into the trap of gambling to try to win back money. For example, if someone is down 100 dollars, than he or she may try to wager 100 dollars in order to make up for it. However, this often backfires and he or she ends up down 200 dollars. This can easily snowball. Time limits are also important. Too much gaming in online casinos can lead to “burnout.” For this reason, it is important to set time limits for yourself.
2. Be smart about where your gaming money comes from. Gaming money should only be taken from money set aside for entertainment. Money that is needed for everyday expenses should never be used in online casinos. Additionally, you should never borrow money in order to gamble. If you are borrowing money, then that is a pretty good sign that you shouldn’t be gambling in the first place.
3. Manage your time wisely. It is always a good idea to take breaks and do other activities in between gaming. Some people wake up in the morning and game all day. This could not be more hazardous. Playing for a little in the morning, and then going throughout the rest of your day, and playing again at night is a good example of how to balance gaming time. Taking frequent breaks can also potentially increase your success. Some players get tired and make mistakes. However, when gaming, keeping your mind fresh and loose can be extremely beneficial.
4. Finally, and most importantly, have fun. The second that you stop having fun while gaming, you should stop. Gaming is supposed to be fun. You are taking chances, thinking, meeting new people, and potentially making some money. When you find yourself struggling to have a good time, then you should call it a day.
Gaming can be a lot of fun, and if you follow these tips you will have a rewarding experience. Never put gaming before other important things in life, and always be responsible. People who have the most success in online casinos avoid burnout and enjoy themselves the entire time.

Casinos – What Do They Offer?

by: Adel Awwad
Casinos often offer much more than gambling. In Las Vegas, casinos are famous for their live entertainment, free buffets and much more. At Caesar’s Palace, there are regular shows by all types of famous celebrities including singers, comedians and magicians. Caesar’s Palace also offers a wide range of eating venues from fine dining restaurants, to casual dining cafes and plenty of bars and lounges. In addition to all of this, there is a large shopping area, and at the famous Venetian you can go gambling to your heart’s content, then take a gondola ride to wind down the evening. If you are not interested in gambling, entertainment, dining or shopping, maybe you can wind down with a full body massage in Caesar's Palace spa and fitness center.
Of course, all the free food, live shows and other features are really there to help diversify your gambling experience. The real reason the casinos exist is to provide you with quality entertainment with games of chance. Those games have come a long way since the old James Bond movies where hero and villain sit across the casino’s roulette wheel or the poker table matching wits.
Today there is video poker, progressive slot machine gambling, video blackjack and much more. The high-tech games are just as enticing as their older counterparts, and when you hear the jackpot sirens ringing on these machines, there’s no question who won, or where. Casinos today are bigger, more sophisticated and more dazzling than ever before.
To get more people into the casino, many establishments are offering incentive packages including books of coupons for discounted drinks, and some even offer a ‘bet matching’ incentive coupon that doubles your winnings on certain games. The casino scene offers many enticements and incentives, but the main attraction is always fun. Take a casino trip with a spending limit, good moderation habits and you’ll have just as much fun as any other night spot in town.

People from all over the world are participating today at online casinos and for good reason.
There is a wide variety of games that are available at online casinos and all of them have great odds of winning. The payout percentage at online casinos is most often considerably higher than a Vegas-style ‘land’ casino. Higher percentage payouts equal more winnings for you at online casinos. You can use your credit card or a number of other online financial transaction options.
